Last Sunday, I had a mid-morning date with the hottest bachelor in Newport. Yes, that's right, the coolest 6 month old bro in town, my friend Carran's baby Grayson (aka Graybaby) had his baptism and a sweet after party back at his house.
Naturally, the only dress appropriate for this occasion was a sassy little leopard number, seen previously in this post. The last time we saw this dress, it was on the holiday party circuit, but after wearing it on a Sunday, I gotta say - I am seriously digging its daytime appeal!
I'd been contemplating the best way to style this dress more casually and then, like magic, I realized that the turquoise and gold hued jewels that I'd received (from the absolutely fabulous ladies at Long Lost Jewelry, Sophie Grace Maui, and Frieda & Nellie) in the past few weeks would be a perfect compliment!
Needless to say, the man of honor totally loved my ensemble. Ok, so he's six months old and only has eyes for his mom, but he like totally glanced my way once. I call it a win.
P.S. - Be sure to follow me on Instagram @doldermcdonald if y'all could use a little more foolery in your lives! And by foolery I obviously mean pictures of my dog with bitchy captions, my outfits of the day, random license plates that I find hilarious, etc.

I wish I had snagged this dress when it was available - it's a great versatile piece and I love how the turquoise makes it a bit more spring!

One my favorite dresses! I actually wore it to work yesterday with tights, flats, and an emerald necklace then decided to wear it out last night with ankle booties and a bunch of pearls - it's so versatile!
ReplyDeleteI have a similar dress to this one, and I'm always shocked by how many occasions it's appropriate for! Love it on you!

That's a really cute dress, better than the J Crew version I saw. Looks great on you!
