Bearing that in mind, this week I thought I'd take a trip down memory lane and share photos of Barbie Beach House 1.0, or the first apartment Ben and I lived in when we got married and moved out to California in 2010, and share photos of our current home, aka Barbie Beach House 2.0, next week.
Looking back at these 2010 photos of how I decorated our first place together, I can definitely see a lot of remnants of the uber-girly Chicago Barbie City Convertible Studio I lived in pre-marriage, but I can also see how I was sorta-kinda trying to not drape everything in pink and shabby chic-ify it out the wazoo as I was living with a man for the first time.

I looove the all white bedroom!!!! I kind of want to do that in our room, but don't think I can deal with white bedding and having two animals sleeping in bed with us. It's kind of a disaster. Thanks for sharing pics and can't wait for barbie casa 2.0
